One of the daughters won the national championship skeet shooting contest held just outside Vandalia, Ohio when she was a teenager. Paul died of a heart attack while driving to Bellefontaine from Lima, ohio. The national skeet shooting contest left Vandalia , Ohio on concerns of terrorist attacks on the Dayton International airport just a mile away.
