H. LESTER CRISPEN
H. LESTER CRISPEN, 420 Riverside Drive, New York City, a brother of Stewart Crispen, Williamsport, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 1952, at St. Luke's Hospital, New York, after an illness of two months. He had suffered with cancer of the lungs.
Born in Mill Hall on Mar. 2, 1887 [Mar. 1, 1887], he was the son of Harry L. Crispen, Mill Hall, and Elizabeth C. Logan Crispen, deceased.
A member of the Riverside Church of New York and the F&AM Lodge, Ridgway, he spent the past 10 years in New York. He was an employee of the Sinnell System, Inc.
Surviving are his wife, the former Ruby Goss; two sons, Robert N. and Harry L., both of Garden City, Long Island; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Robinson, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Alice Garrett, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; his father, Mr. Crispen, Mill Hall; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Ferree, Mill Hall; and two brothers besides Stewart, Warren, Mill Hall, and William, Oil City. Five grandchildren also survive.
Services will be in the funeral home in Reynoldsville at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. H. T. Chisholm officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, Beechwood, Pa.
