Grandson of William Keysacker and Elizabeth Bullock of Crawford County, Indiana. Great-grandson of George Keysacker who fought in the Revolutionary War and ferried George Washington over the Pamunkey River during the war.
Father of Margaret, James, Lenard, Velvia and possibly Maggie. Married twice, the first spouse was Mary Owen and the second time to Minnie Weatherford.
