Ida Gertrude Fortner was the daughter of John Lewis Fortner and Margaret Augusta Russell. She married William Wesley Caster on September 17, 1897 in Tarrant County, Texas. They had four children: Albert W. Caster; Robert Caster; Marguerette Caster; Eunice E. Caster. Ida Gertrude was soft-spoken and kind. She lived her life in service to her family and was an example of patience and meekness. She is buried between her husband and her mother in Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rest in Peace Ida. Your son Albert did good! He married Clementine Appling in Lockhart, Caldwell Co., Tx., on 30 May 1931. He was a public accountant by occupation. He and Clemmie were buried in Cooke-Walden Capitol Park in Austin. Apparently had no ...(Read more)
