Neff, Susanna
1851 - 1923
Susanna Lott was the daughter of Ernest Lott and his wife Catherine.
The family name was originally Stein, but when they immigrated to the US from Hesse Darmstadt, the name was changed.
Susanna was born in the Patton and Plum Township area, somewhere near the East End.
She and John Neff had 12 known children between 1870 and 1892.
On May 17, 1923 she died in Avalon at age 72, a victim of a carcinoma of the bladder. The address at the Holzheimer & Bock Funeral Home was given as #515 Eugene Street. Her parents are buried at Mt. Royal Cemetery.
