L. Louise Quick, 89, of Abingdon died at 7:32 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born in Galesburg, IL on May 17, 1918, the daughter of Everett N and Vonna Pauline Marks Carlberg. She married G. Wilbur Quick on January 14, 1942 on the Carlberg family farm in Cedar Township, Knox County near Lake Bracken. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1984.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry Quick and a brother, Robert Carlberg.

Louise is survived by two sons, Dennis (Gwen) Quick and Kevin (Lori) Quick; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Quick; seven grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; a sister, Jean (Leonard) Hedbloom; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Carlberg and Lois Murdock.

Burial will be in Abingdon Cemetery.
