OBITUARY - Charles Spiller, aged about 58, died on West Sixth street at 3 o'clock this morning, death resulting from stomach trouble, with which he had been confined to the house for about three months. The deceased was born in New Hampshire, but came to this city when 16 years old. For the past 27 years he had been an employee of the Grand Detour plow company, most of the time as the night watchman. He was especially close with his employers and co-laborers, and they all unite in expressing condolence to the bereaved family.
