Funeral Services For Former Resident Are Held On Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Elizabeth Tucker, 75, of Kewanee, wife of William Tucker, were held Monday afternoon in the Cavanaugh and Schueneman funeral home in Kewanee. She was laid to rest in the Princeville cemetery.
Mrs. Tucker formerly of Princeville, sister of the late Ida Beall, passed away in St. Francis hospital in Kewanee last Thursday night.
She was born in Princeville September 18, 1880, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Lawson Bush. She received her education in the Princeville school and was married to William H. Tucker November 18, 1898. They resided in the Princeville community until 30 years ago, moving then to Kewanee.
Surviving are her husband; four children, Dethyn Tucker of Chillicothe, Ralph Tucker of Kewanee, Wilford Tucker of Denver Colo., and Mrs. Walter Nelson of Peoria; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother, Bert Bush of Peoria. Mrs. Guy Bouton and Mrs. Gilbert Mendenhall are cousins. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Methodist church in Kewanee.
