Mrs. S. A. Thurston
The body of Mrs. S. A. Thurston arrived from Lincoln where she died last Tuesday. Deceased is Mrs. Ed Farr's grandmother and is well known in this city where she has lived for some time prior to going to Lincoln. She was an old lady beloved for her kindly disposition and pleasant ways. The funeral will take place from the residence of Ed Farr this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, and the remains will be interred in the Blair cemetery.
At the time of the 1885 Nebraska state census, Martha Thurston was living In Blair, Nebraska. She was 71, and was the mother-in-law of the head of household.

Mattie Shaver, daughter, 32, single, librarian, b. Oct. 1867 Illinois
Martha Thurston, 84, mother, b. Nov. 1815 Massachusetts.
