Obituary: William Amos Perryman, 76, a resident of Dallas thirty-six years, died Thursday at a Dallas hospital.
Born in Smith County, he operated a dry goods store in Lindale before he came to Dallas to work for Sanger Bros. After eight years there, he became a salesman for Burlier Brothers, where he worked for twenty-five years. He retired several years ago.
Perryman was a deacon of Cliff Temple Baptist Church and a Mason.
Surviving are his wife; a sister, Mrs. Doc Baker of Lindale, and a brother, John Perryman of Oklahoma.
Take services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bassett Building of Cliff Temple Baptist Church, 126 West Tenth. Dr. Wallace Basset will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
