Edmund L. Hudson, 50, 284 1/2 W. Fifth St., died at 12:30 pm. Thursday in his home following two weeks illness.
He was employed at the Triplex Heating Specialty Co. here.
Born Jan. 29, 1917 in Peru, he was the son of John and Nellie (Snyder) Hudson.
He was married in 1938 to Elva Lee, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Richard and Jerry, both of Aurora, IL. Edmund of Kokomo and Robert of Wildwood, IL. two daughters Mrs. Jan (Charles) Short of Converse and Mrs. Nancy (Phillip) Brooks of Peru. Two brothers William Hudson of Pierceton and John Hudson of Aurora, IL.; three sisters
Mrs. Eileen (Orville)Day, Peru; Mrs. Mary (Rupert)Thorpe of Wabash and Mrs. Nellie (James)Manry of Alexandria, La., and fourteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday in the Drake-Flowers Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Welch officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday
