Collison, Joe W. (Age 83) - Passed away in Spokane on June 29, 1996. He was born in Spokane and had been a resident for 78 years. Survivors include three sons, Larry Collison and his wife Dolla of Rockford, WA; Richard Collison of Spokane and Robert Collison and his wife Marilyn of Portland OR, one duaghter Joan Erickson and her husband Vern of Spokane. 24 grandchildren. 34 Great-grandchildren, and one nephew Howard Collison of Spokane. He was preceded in death be his wife Vay Collison in 1994, two brothers, one grandaugther, Lisa; and one grandson Daryl. Aviewing will be held from 9:oo AM unitl 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 6, 1996 at Hazen-jaeger Valley Funeral Home, N 1306 Pines Rd. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 1996 at 2:00 PM, at the Freeman Cemetery in Freeman, WA. Elder Roger Sanders will Officiate.

Visitation for Joe W. Collison, 83 is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Freeman (Wash.) Cemetery.
Born in Spokane, Mr Collison died Saturday.
He owned Joe's Turkey Dinner and C.V. Dinner both in the Spokane Valley. he later worked in heavy construction and as a warehouse manager.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Valley Elks.
His wife Vay Collison died in 1994.
Surviviors inclue three sons, larry Collison of Rockford, Richard Collison of Spokane, and Robert Collison of Portland; a daughter, Joan Erickson of Spokane; 24 grandchildren and 34 Great-granchildren
