Anderson, 09, of Mendenhall Ave., died at 1:30 p. m. yesterday in the Grandview Convalescent Home in Clarion following an extended illness. Born January 20, 1907, in Callensburg, she was a daughter of William E. and Nancy Elliott Cooper. She was married September 5, 1927, to Avery William Anderson, who survives. Also surviving are: a sister, Mrs. Margaret Craig of Sligo and three nephews, James Craig of Butler, Keith Craig of Kittanning, and Hunter Craig of Clarion. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church in Knox. The Women's Association of the church and the Martha Circle of the church. She was a graduate of Clarion Stale College and taught in the Rimersburg schools previous to her marriage. Removal was made to the William N. Rupert Funeral Home in Knox where friends will be received after 7 n. m. today. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Cecil Robert Taylor, pastor of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sligo Cemetery. Source: The Derrick, Oil City, PA.
