PRETTY PRAIRIE - Paul E. Rogers, 85, died Oct. 1, 2007, at his home, Pretty Prairie.
He was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Castleton, the son of William and Betty A. Pinkston Rogers. A lifetime resident of the Pretty Prairie community, and he was a retired farmer/cattleman.
He belonged to the United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie.
On Aug. 20, 1944, he married Carrol Ann O'Hara, daughter of Dwight Samuel O'Hara and Nina Florence Anderson, in Hutchinson. She survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Ron, Shawnee, Mark and Bill, both of Pretty Prairie; a brother, Carl, Green Valley, Ariz.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leo and Cecil; and a sister, Opal Miller.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at United Methodist Church, Pretty Prairie, with Pastor Marilyn Christmore presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m., with family present from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery.
