Coulter B. Myers, 61, of Marble Star Route, died at noon Wednesday, January 28, in the Oil City Hospital. He was the son of the late Harry V. and Elmyra Finefrock Myers.
Mr. Myers was born October 6, 1897. Mr. Myers had lived in Franklin for several years and was a trucker by trade.
His wife, Iva, preceded him in death in 1945.
He was a member of the Providence Methodist Church.
He is survived by six children, Elmyra Wilkens, Franklin; Mrs. Wayne Barnett, Knox RD; Robert, Marble; Wilfred, Oil City RD2; Jack, Washington D.C. and Mrs. Dan Reighard; Jacksonville, Fla.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Jess, Erie;Thomas, Clarion RD; Albert, Oil City; Martin, Sligo; Eugene, Polk, Mrs. Elva Klingensmith, Clarion RD; Mrs. Clarence Barner [Varner]; and Mrs. Lillybelle of Clarion.
Twenty-three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. The body was removed to the Stuart Funeral Home where funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Merle Wonderling officiated and interment was made in the Providence Methodist Church Cemetery.
