Roger Earle Bibb, 69, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at his home.

Born May 31, 1938, in Monroe, VA, he was the son of the late Edward Bibb and Naomi (Russell) Bibb Kirby (married 12 Sep 1932 - divorced 26 Mar 1947).

He was retired from Spartan Automotive, a member of Nazareth Presbyterian Church, a former Mason and Shriner, and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Dunnie Houston Bibb; a son, Michael L. Bibb and his fiancé Geraldine Shrader of Pacolet; a daughter, Margie A. Bibb of Spartanburg; and a granddaughter, Ronica C. Bibb of Pacolet.

Visitation was 1:30-2:30 PM Thursday, September 20, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Graveside services followed at 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. David Sutton and the Rev. Tom Malone.

Honorary Escort was members of the Wagner Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to SRMC Hospice Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
