Mary Ann was the daughter of Amos, Jr., and Elizabeth Ann (Bradley) Ash, who were married 3 April 1845 in Greene County, Illinois.
Mary Ann married William Hull 1 May 1867 in Morgan County, IL. In the 1870 Mortality Schedule, her name misspelled as "May Hall", the cause of her death is listed as childbirth. In the 1870 Census, her widowed husband is living with his parents, and there is a 5 month-old girl named Ollie Hull living there. It's unclear whose child she was, but William's mother was 55 years old at the time, so it's unlikely Ollie was her child.
William was the son of Isaac and Elizabeth (Story) Hull, and nephew of Vincent, Parish, and Porter Story, who are all buried in this cemetery.
