Obituary -- William McKim, 77, retired Newcomerstown barber, died at his home in 430 Mulvane street, that village, at 4 p.m. yesterday. He had been ill six months and bedfast five weeks.
Mr. McKim was born October 4, 1867, in Guernsey county and came to Newcomerstown in 1937. He was a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are three children to his first wife, the late Mary Siegman McKim. Raymond, Elsie, and Laura McKim, all of Alliance; his second wife, Mrs. Minnie Walker McKim, to whom he was married nine years ago; eight stepchildren, Earl, Carlos, Clarence, Jesse and Frank Walker and Mrs. Ray Hammersley and Mrs. John Weilant, all of Newcomerstown; and Kenneth Walker of the U. S. Navy; three brothers and two sisters, Al, Edward, and Joseph McKim and Mrs. Chas. Boyd and Miss Rachel McKim all of Cambridge, and 20 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Short services from the residence Saturday at 2 p.m. Barney Johnson will officiate and burial will be make in Weslawn cemetery in charge of Jones, Lydick and Castle Funeral Home. Friends may call after 7 tonight.
