Gladys (Muston) Taylor was the 6th of seven daughters born to Charlie Muston and Emma P. Nettles in Lee County. She married John Taylor on November 30, 1939. A lifelong Lee County resident, Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. Mrs. Taylor died in Waco at 94 years of age. A graveside service was held Friday, September 21, 2007, at Lexington Cemetery with Rev. Reuel Cooper of Lexington officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Taylor; and six sisters, Erma Thompkins, Ima Pounders, Stella Jones, Mollie "Shorty" Quinney, Nona Taylor and Pauline Reynolds.
