Chandler OK Obit: Mrs Grace M Gayman, 85, Chandler pioneer and former long-time resident here, died Wednesday in an Oklahoma City rest home. Graveside services will be at 3 pm Thursday in Oak Park cemetery, Chandler, with Curry Funeral Home in charge. Mrs Gayman was the widow of John J Gayman partner in the pioneer firm of Gayman-Sutton-Downing Hardware, Furniture and Undertaking. Her husband who die July 8 1944, also served as Chandler postmaster for 9 years. She belonged to the Chandler Presbyterian Church where she was an active member and past president of the Presbyterian Guild. She was a past president of the Round Table Study Club and charter member of the Matrons Embroidery Club. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs Ruth Roberts of El Paso, TX and Mrs Marion Barnthouse of Oklahoma City; and 2 sons, John Hale Gayman of Oklahoma City and R N "Dick" Gayman of Irving, Texas.
