EDNA FLEURY BRADLEY ISLE LA MOTTE, Vermont — Edna Fleury Bradley, 66, a lifelong resident of the Isle La Motte community died late Sunday morning, February 5, 2006, at the Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington.

Born at home in Isle La Motte on November 6, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson and Helen Mary (Deo) Fleury.

She attended Isle La Motte schools and in 1970 was married to Patrick W. Bradley, Jr. who survives her.

In addition to her role as a full time mother and foster parent, Edna provided private duty health care for many homebound individuals throughout the Lake Champlain Island Communities and for nine years also caring for her brother Jack Fleury who had suffered from a debilitating stroke. She will also be remembered for the great love she had for her cat "Dotty", for taking "Vermont Baths" and playing Dominos with her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Mission.

Besides her husband Patrick of thirty-five years Edna leaves three daughters, Debbie Potvin and her children, Ashley and Emily of North Ft. Myers, Florida, Lesa Little her fiance Corey Lockerby and Lesa's children, Amanda, Anna and Ashley of Alburgh and Robin Bellevue and her husband Herbert and their children, Laura, Grace, Robert and Adam of Enosburgh; nine grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren, Mea and Keely; a brother, Allen Fleury and his wife Patricia of Dayton, Ohio as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Kesek, Jane Ashline and Helen Stakes and two brothers, Jack and George Fleury.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 8, 2006, at 1 p.m. from Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Mission, Main Street, Isle La Motte. Father Maurice U. Boucher, SSE will be the celebrant and homilist. Interment will follow in the Fleury family lot in Saint Joseph's Cemetery.

Friends may call at Saint Joseph's Mission on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
