--Mrs. Hattie Bowden, 76, 90 George street, widow of William Bowden, died at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Patch, 519 West Main street. She had been ill three weeks.
--The body was taken to the Drake funeral home. Funeral arrangements had not been completed.
--Surviving besides Mrs. Patch are two other children, Ralph Bowden, of Charleston, S. C., and Mrs. Victor Spanski, Chicago. Surviving also are a brother and two sisters, William Clear and Mrs. Mary Beal, both of Peru, and Mrs. Addie Huston, Stoutsville, O., together with eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
--Born at Roann, the deceased had been a resident of Miami and Wabash counties all her life and was a member of the Methodist church here.
