Eighty-Six Years. - John Lippy, who has lived in Fredonia since 1871, died Wednesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. M.A. Lee, in this city, in his eighty-six year. He was born in Maryland about seventeen miles from the city of Baltimore, whence he moved to Illinois in the "forties", locating in Fulton county, and that was his home until he came to Kansas and Wilson county as above stated. For a number of years his mind has not been right, and he has been under the care of Mrs. Lee, who has done her part as a good and considerate daughter. Uncle John Lippy was well known by the people all around, old settler, as he was. The funeral will be held tomorrow.
