Wife of Leo F. Nourse.
Mrs. Nourse was an accountant for the city of Bridgewater for 52 years before her retirement in 1978. She also served as the past treasurer of the Veteran's Memorial in Bridgewater and at the time of her death she was treasurer of the Old Bridgewater Historical Society.
Named Bridgewater's Woman of the Year in 1970 by the Bridgewater Jaycees.
Descended from Rev. James Keith, who arrived in America from Scotland in 1662 and was one of the original settlers of Bridgewater, Mrs. Nourse was active in the preservation of her hometown's rich history. She was proud of the town's history and her lineage and gladly helped others, such as this contributor, to find their ancestors.
She is survived by three sisters - Doris Grigg, Charlotte Hall and Eleanor Anderson.
