Priscilla was one of 4 children (2 sons and 2 daughters) born of Noah Damon (b. 1723) and his first wife, Hannah Merryfield. Priscilla's sibings were: Lois (d. 1813 - see Find A Grave memorial# 98508517), Noah (1760-1853), and Jedidiah (d. 1830).

Priscilla and her husband Zachariah Bassett (1759-1853) moved to Bridgewater, Windsor County, Vermont in 1789. They moved from Bridgewater to Waterbury, Washington County, Vermont in 1838.
