He is survived by his wife of 53 yrs., one daughter and two sons. He has nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by an unnamed brother,and two sisters- Joyce Sue and Vida Mae Koehler.
Burial was Mar 21, 1997 in Hoosier Cemetery, Louisville, Illinois
He was a military veteran and Commander of the Sailor Springs, Illinois American Legion for 26 years.
