Mr. O. B. Callis, 62 years of age, died last night at 11 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. M. Moore, 316 Woodland Avenue, after a protracted illness of rheumatism. Mr. Callis had lived in Lexington for the last year, having been for many years a prominent farmer and stockman of Henry County. His body will be taken to Henry County this afternoon at 3 o'clock, where the funeral will be held Thursday morning.
Mr. Callis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. L. M. Moore, of this city, and Mrs. William Herrell, of Henry County, and three sons. Harland Callis, of Louisville; Lemuel Callis, of Jackson, and Samuel G. Callis, of Henry County. Mr. Callis is also survived by one grandson, George Head, of Henry County.
