THOMAS C. SHOULDERS
Funeral services for Thomas C. Shoulders, 68, of 316 W. Creighton Ave., will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Mungovan & Sons Mortuary, and 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mr. Shoulders died yesterday at his home, following a four-year illness.
Born in Franklin, Ky., Mr. Shoulders moved to Fort Wayne in 1916. He was employed at the old Home Telephone & Telegraph Co. and the General Telephone Co. for 45 years, retiring on March 21, 1959. Mr. Shoulders was a lifetime member of the telephone Pioneers of America and St. Patrick's Church.
Surviving are his wife, Irene; one son, John T., Fort Wayne; four brothers, Paul, Luther and Jim, all living in Kentucky, and Dick, Cairo, Ill.; one sister, Mrs. Ann Gerberich, Crestline, Ohio, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p.m. today. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
