Mrs. Faye Orlean Green Brogdon, 75, of Anacoco, died Monday, Sept. 28, in
Mansfield.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 1, at
Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with
interment following at Pine Island Cemetery in Pickering. The
Rev. Roland George, and the Rev. Homer Fondren officiated.
Mrs. Brogdon was a member of the Old Anacoco Baptist Church. She
retired from Byrd Regional Hospital in 1978, as the head of
housekeeping.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Brister of Leesville,
and Sandy Hodnett of Longville; three brothers, Harold Green of
Mansfield, Bernice Green of Belmont, and Marion Green of
Shreveport; one sister, Peggy Miller of Shreveport; seven
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
