Roberts, Grady Williams Sr., 64, of Post Oak Road, Boynion, Ga. died Friday night in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga Valley moving to Boynton nine years ago. He was retired from Singer-Cobble Co. after 25 years of service, and was connected with the Mid-South Welding Co. Survivors, wife, Mrs. Edith Margin Roberts, son, Grady William Roberts Jr., both of Boynton; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Young, Chickamauga, Ga., Mrs. Patsy Eubanks, Rossville; three sisters, Mrs. Jackie Long, Mrs. Mildred Clayton, both of Chattanooga Valley, Mrs. Irene Sloan, Tiftonia; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today in the Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Astor Driscoll officiating. Interment in Tenn-Ga, Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Harvey Scealf, Aue Brooks, Hagger Wrinkle, Fred Pritchett, Paul Jolly, Tommy Christian. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Mid South Welding Co. The body is at the Lane Funeral Home Inc.
