DALLASTOWN Mildred Gloria (Eisensmith) Dennis, 79, died Sunday, September 9, 2007, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Lester E. Dennis, Jr. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Mount Rose Cemetery with her pastors, the Rev. Roger Mentzer and the Rev. Dr. Carl Rife, officiating. Family and friends will meet at the entrance of Mount Rose Cemetery at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Born September 13, 1927, in Red Lion, a daughter of the late James W. and Helen (Rodgers) Eisensmith. She was a 1946 graduate of William Penn High School and enjoyed participating with the monthly get-togethers that her graduating class held. Mrs. Dennis retired from Dentsply International in 1989. She was an active member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she was on the Altar Guild and served numerous other ministries. She was also a member of the 21st Century Club, Golden Agers, and loved going on bus trips and following her grandchildren's sports teams. Mrs. Dennis is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Hake and Pamela J. Reichard, both of Dallastown; two grandchildren, Jasen A. Grandstaff and Tina L. Ramirez; three great-grandchildren, Joshua and Anastasia Grandstaff and De Laina Ramirez; and a brother, Thomas E. Eisensmith of York. She was preceded in death by a sister, Delores E. Hildebrand.
