Helen Evans, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Evans, died on Saturday morning. Ten days ago the little one contracted pneumonia, complicated by an abscess that formed in one of her ears. The child suffered intensely for the past week until relieved by death. The baby was a peculiarly bright child, both mentally and physically, and death was unexpected up to twenty four hours preceding the demise. The funeral took place from the home of J. W. Henderson Sunday afternoon. The interment was in Blair cemetery. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Evans deeply sympathize with them in their hour of affliction.
