Originally buried in a shallow grave at the spot where she was killed in the dunes near Overveen (Netherland). Reburied on November 27, 1945, at the cemetery of honor in the dunes of Overveen. The Dutch queen Wilhelmina, princess Juliana and prince Bernhard were present at her burial.
