According to obituary: Pineville, MO March 20 - A.L. Regert, 63 years old, proprietor of the Regert Grocery, died at his home here this morning. Death was caused by influenza.
Before moving here, Mr. Regert operated groceries at Scotland, east of Duenweg, and at a small community (between Joplin and Scotland) at the intersection of county line road and the Fidelity Road.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Minnie Regert; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh Anderson and Mrs. Nellie Talbott; a son, Leo Regert of Lanagan and eight Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery --- Joplin Globe.
