Stella Rouse, 52, Takes Own Life
MEADOW CREEK (RNS)--Mrs. Stella B. Rouse, 52, died at her home Friday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, accord|ing to a funeral home spokesman.
She was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
Born in Raleigh County, Dec. 9, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Bennett and Alice Bennett.
Her husband, James L. Roush, died in 1968.
Survivors include three brothers, Clarence Jr. of Massachusetts, Howard of Beckley, and Charles Bennett of Marfrance; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Adkins of Shady Spring, Mrs. Della Todd of Layland, Mrs. Nannie Hunt of Crow, and Mrs. Marie Adkins, address unknown; a son, Alfred F., at home; a stepson, James J. of Hinton; a stepdaughter, Mrs.
Kelly Hedrick of Blacksburg, Va., and three grandchildren.
The body is at E. M. Meadows Funeral Home.
