EDWARD J. ARCH
JOHNSTON TOWNSHIP - Edward J. Arch, 66, 4905 Ridge Road, died at 3:04 a.m. Monday in Trumbull Memorial Hospital from a stroke.
He was born April 9, 1928 in Warren, a son of Steven and Anna Budai Arch.
He lived in Johnston for 18 years after moving from Warren.
Mr Arch was a craneman at Copperweld Steel Corp. for 31 years, retiring in 1990. He and his wife owned and operated Arch's Aviary Exotic Birds in Cortland.
He was a member of the Cleveland Cage Bird Society, United Steelworkers Union Local 2243 and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, boxing and animal shows.
Mr Arch was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in Japan as an MP.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Buell Arch, whom he married Aug 9 1976; three daughters Mrs John (Doreen)Sutton, Mrs. Valoria Riegel and Miss Lisa Shull, of Bridgeton N.J.; a stepson, Richard Bland of Champion two stepdaughters Mrs. Becky Jo Britt of Warren and Mrs. Keith (Dianne) Sweitzer of Mecca; three sisters Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Lee, Mrs. Joseph (Glorian) Rossi of Warren and Mrs Jim (Irene) Larsen of Mulberry, Fla.; three grandaughters and four step grandchildren.
His paraents and a sister Lillian Ball are deceased.
A private memorial service will be held and there are no calling hours. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements were made by Shafer-Winans Funeral Home.

Husband of #1 Deloris Everhart, #2 Sue, #3 Mary Buell.
Father of Doreen, Valorie and Lisa.
