Mary was born in Monticello, Iowa and died at the young age of 26-27. She went to Mount Mercy Academy in the late 20's, early 30's and had a best friend named Kay. She left her scrapbook from that time at Mount Mercy to her brother, who survived her, named James Edward. She was predeceased by a sister named Mary, her mother and her father. She is buried with her sister and mother. Her brother James is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas. Her father Michael James is buried with his second wife in Calvary Cemetary in Waterloo. She died in a Denver,Co. hospital and the cause of death is listed as "possible tb". When she passed away she left two diamond rings to her brother. One was a engagement ring and the other she won in a beauty contest. She was engaged to a guy that worked at Western Union. She was a very pretty girl.
