He died so that others might live!
World War 1 Veteran
LeRoy was a wonderful and kind young man. He lived his life with honor and respect. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed the peaceful serenity nature could offer. He also had a sense of adventure and a keen eye for beauty. He was known for playing practical jokes (in good taste) and was always trying to get a smile or a laugh. He enjoyed life and lived it to the best of his ability. It is a true tragedy that his life was cut so short. It is has been told that he would stand his ground and put himself in danger to protect another and it is believed that he passed doing just that. He will always be a hero to me! Learning of him and his life has been an honor. May he rest in happiness and peace.
