. This small family settled in Wyoming, and grew their family.
Samuel went to work in the mines.
. On 20 March 1895 an Explosion in Mine #5, killed about 61 people. Samuel was one of those killed.

>. James and Thomas Hutchinson, two of Samuel's Brothers and Samuel Bate a son in law of Thomas's were also killed in this explosion. Just in this one family were 4 widow's and 22 children.
Samuel and Frances's Twins, Esther and Alice married brothers. A daughter of Frances's with Bell also married one of these brother.
The two families had lived next door to each other from time to time. They lost an Uncle in the mine on 20 March 1895 bringing this one family's loss to 5 widows and 28 Children drastically effected by this one event.

Following My family connection to this event weaving through the 61 men killed, the twists and turns are exciting and bone chilling at the same time..
>James's widow remarried was widowed again, before she married the father of Thomas's son in law.
This father lost his son in this 1895 Mine disaster and in 1908 his Son in law died in another Mine disaster. WHO happens to be the Grandson of one of the oldest victim of the disaster that killed his son among the youngest victims.

I could go on, but I am confused, I can only imagine the reader.. These disasters are huge.
Far greater then one day in the life of....
