Brother of Maria Louise "Mary", Ernestine Marie, Johann Ernst "Theodor", August Rinehold "Ran", Emma Theresia, Selma Marie Christiana and Gerhardt Emil Biehle.
August died on December 14, 1869. He was buried at the St. Paul's Cemetery in Serbin two days later.
The St. Paul's Lutheran Church obituary reads as follows:
"August had always been sickly and his death was a release for the miseries of the world. Cause of death was Englische Krankheit (English sickness). Johann Lorentschk (Lorenz) and his two sons are thanked for help with the funeral and Johann Urban transported the body to the grave."
