Actor. Ramon Zamora was billed as the "Bruce Lee of the Philippines." Ramon Artiaga Zamora first caught the attention of movie executives because of his strong semblance to martial arts superstar Bruce Lee. After Lee's death in 1973, Zamora was among those approached by international movie producers to play the role of the late Chinese actor in a movie biography. But the negotiations failed. Zamora's popularity hit an all-time high during the seventies when he played the title role in the movie Ang Mahiwagang Daigdig ni Pedro Penduko. He also starred in the TV show Dragon Force, where he was dubbed the "Bruce Lee of the Philippines." Among his memorable films were Return of the Dragon, Peter Pan de Sal (where he starred with then child superstar Nińo Muhlach) and Big Boss.
Zamora also ventured into producing movies, setting up his own Monza Productions, which churned out films like Chimikoy and KATO: Son of the Dragon, where he starred with Elizabeth Oropesa who played his leading lady. He was last seen on television in the soap opera Maging Sino Ka Man, playing the role of Mang Simo.
