Truman G. Mansell, 88, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the Garden Valley Manor. Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 29 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons, Floral Hills Chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice. Mr. Mansell was born October 18, 1918 in Anderson, MO to George and Lula (Bennett) Mansell and had lived in ths area all of his life. He was an Army veteran of W.W. II, a member of V.F.W. Post #7356, a 50 year member of the First Regular Baptist Church and a member of the Parkhill Christian Church. He was a Carpenter but retired as a Building Inspector for the City of Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Hazel Mae Ackerman Mansell in 2000 and his second wife, Dorothy (Lindsay) Mansell in 2002. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Ellen Sewell of Lee's Summit, MO, George Raymond and Mickie Mansell of KCMO, Norman Lee and Della Mansell of KCMO, Susan Dedrick of KCMO, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson; a brother, Francis Norman Mansell of KCMO; a sister, Jeanne M.
