Paul V. Bowers, 63, of LeGore, died Saturday night enroute
to the Veterans Administration Hospital, Martinsburg,
W. Va. He had been in failing health for several months.
Born in Frederick County, he
was the son of the late Milton
and Rose Smith Bowers.
He was a veteran of WW I
and had been an employee for
the Richard Kline Road Construction
Company.
He is survived by his wife,
Katheleen Grimes Bowers, five
daughters, Mrs. Beverley Bell, LeGore,
Mrs. Linda Harris, Woodsboro,
Miss Isabelle Bowers, at home,
Mrs. Victoria Wachter, Walkersville,
and Mrs. Rose Hines, Woodsboro, one
brother, Allen Bowers, Woodsboro,
and one sister, Mrs. Marie Blessing, Keymar.
Eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
