Survivors: widow, son, daughter, Mrs. R. O. (Patricia) Marx, Mapleton, Utah County; Lynn, with U. S. Army; four grandchildren; mother, Roosevelt; sisters, Mrs. Axel Anderson, Roosevelt; Mrs. M. F. Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) in the Roosevelt LDS Ward Chapel at 1 p.m. for Glen B. Goodrich, 58, who died Monday in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness.
He was born August 6, 1906 in Vernal, a son of LeRoy and Sarah Bingham Goodrich. He married Cora Gaines September 12, 1939 in Craig, Colorado.
He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his widow, a son, Lynn, with the U. S. Army and a daughter, Mrs. R. D. (Patricia) Marx, Mapleton, Utah County; four grandchildren, his mother, Roosevelt; four sisters, Mrs. Axel Anderson, Roosevelt; Mrs. M. F. Burrows, Walnut Creek, California; Mrs. Donald Marker, Sonora, California and Mrs. Howard Reynolds, Salt Lake City.
Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Roosevelt prior ro services.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt City Cemetery with military rites by Basin Post 64 American Legion.

Glen died in the Veteran Hospital in Salt lake City, Utah, two years and four months after his dad's death.
"Glen" served with the Sixth Armored Division in World War II. He stood in the fighting line with General Patton's third Army. Five golden stars he wears on his chest, campaign stars of the great war. The battles he went through and the men who fought them have become legends like Gettysburg.
The Stars and Stripes cover him now, by this means, the Nation honors him. His name is now and forever will be, enscrolled on the long roll of the Nation's honored dead.
In civilian life, after the war, it seemed to me, there still clung around Glen, the aura of his army days; of combat days, for he sometimes had an indifferent, rough exterior, but probing deeply you found a very tender heart. Glen was a good man, he has a good name to remember, a good name to live by.
May peace be with you as we give Glen back to the great Giver who gave him".
