Robert C. May, 58, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS.Visitation is 5-8 Friday, May 27, 2005 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with services at 10am Saturday, May 28, 2005 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. A native of Jackson, Mr. May graduated from Central High School. He worked for the Hinds County Sheriff's Dept. for 15 years and had lived in the Harrisville area for the past 12 years. Mr. May was preceded in death by his parents: Bennie and Margie May and brother: Bennie Joel May. He is survived by his wife: Clara Tyson May of Harrisville; daughter: Robin Alexander of Brandon; grand-daughter: Raegan Alexander; other children: Rhonda Smith, David Tyson, Debra Brown, Mike Tyson and Billy Tyson; 17 other grandchildren; 17 other great-grandchildren; sister: Ruby McLean of Braxton and niece: Karen McLean.
