In the name of God amen, I James Malcom, of the state of Georgia, and the county of Morgan, being poorly in body, but of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament. First of all, I commit my soul to God and my body to be buried at the discretion of my friends and as touching my estate my will and desire is that my just debts be paid.
Item First, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mary Conner, formerly Mary Malcom, one dollar in ready money.
Item Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, David Malcom, two negroes, namely Jack and Henry.
Item Third, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Elizabeth Malcom, one dollar ready money.
Item Fourth, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, Ganaway Malcom, two negroes, namely Charles and Jake.
Item Fifth, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, John Malcom, two negroes, namely Peter and Sam.
Item Sixth, I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Sally Adcock, formerly Sally Malcom, one dollar ready money.
Item Seventh, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, James Malcom, two negroes, namely Dave and George.
Item Eighth, I give and bequeath to my beloved son, George W. Malcom, two negroes, namely Jon and Sarah.
