A Death Today from Scarlet Fever –
Little Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilburn, of Route Four Died Early Today –
Mary Wilburn, aged two, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wilburn of Rockford, died at 6 o'clock this morning, and owing to the nature of the disease causing death the funeral services, held this afternoon, were of a private nature, held at the residence, with burial in the cemetery near the Emmanuel Church.
The death of the little girl caused by scarlet fever, with complications, and was indeed a sad one. Owing to the nature of disease burial was necessary as soon as possible and interment took place about four o'clock this afternoon.
Surviving the little girl are parents and one brother, older than the dead child. The little boy a year ago passed through a similar illness with the fever.
