Johnie Alfred Martin of Nowata, Okla., died Sunday evening 18 Sept 1994 in Hillcrest Medical Center of Tulsa, OK at age 79.
Mr. Martin was born 27 May 1915 in Delaware, OK, to Austin L. and Nancy (Goodtraveler) Martin. He graduated from Childers High School in 1935, excelling in basketball and baseball. He lived all his life in Nowata County, except while working at a job in Borger, Texas.
He was a retired construction worker.
Survivors include two sisters, Mamie Harrison of Nowata and Sue Langston of Borger.
