Beverly was born Dec. 6, 1935, in Spalding, Nebraska to Raymond and Pearl (Sparks) McVeigh. She graduated from Herman, Nebraska High School in 1953 and from the University of Nebraska in 1958.
She was a social worker for Douglas County. She lived in the Herman and Omaha Nebraska areas all of her life.
Former Herman resident, Beverly R. Vogel, 65, of Omaha, Nebraska, died Saturday, Nov. 10, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah; burial was in the Herman Cemetery.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Vogel of Omaha, sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Tom Simmons of Paradise Valley, Ariz., brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Andrea McVeigh of Omaha, and brother, James McVeigh, of Herman.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair was in charge of arrangements.
