Wanda Fay Hamilton, 54, Franklin route three, died Monday at Bartholomew County Hospital, Columbus. She had been in failing health 2½ years.

She was born June 19, 1930, in Nineveh Township to Marcus and Mary (Dragoo) Stillabower.

A lifelong Johnson County resident, she graduated from Nineveh High School in 1949.

She had worked for 12 years as a cook at Indian Creek High School. She was a member of Union Christian Church and its Women's Fellowship, and the Nineveh Home Ec Club.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vandivier-Tudor Funeral Home, Franklin,, with the Rev. Paul Palusko officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Hamilton, whom she married June 24, 1950; her parents, who live in Greenwood; a daughter, Brenda Hawk, Greenwood; two sons, Steven and Kelly Hamilton, both of Franklin route three, and one grandson.

The family suggests contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Chapter of ALS Foundation.
